2003 - The 3000th Anniversary of Zoroastrian Culture
 

The California Zoroastrian Center (CZC) in partnership and cooperation with national and international organizations is hosting a 3 days gala event to celebrate the UNESCO declaration of “2003 – The 3000th Anniversary of Zoroastrian Culture”.

This event will take place on December 19th, 20th and 21st at Anaheim Convention Center, in Orange County southern California. The main objective of this grand event is to create a global awareness of Zarathushtra’s unsurpassed and unique contributions to the advancement of humanity and human civilization.

The event is scheduled to have a “Full Day Conference” on Saturday 12/20 followed by “A Day of Heritage” on 12/21. A night Gala is planned and scheduled for the evening of 12/20. The conference will host world-renowned scholars and speakers from Academia in N. America and Europe, government authorities, mass media representatives and international dignitaries.

President of Tajikistan, UN/UNESCO officials, the governor elect of California, U.S. federal, and regional government authorities, representatives of the press and media, including CNN are being invited to participate in the opening or at the gala banquet receptions. Most of the proceeding of the conference featuring academic scholars is expected to be broadcasted live on Asian Satellite TV and to be beamed into the Middle East and the globe over.

The theme of this international event under the above UNESCO title is “The Ancient Persian and Zoroastrian Ethics and Today’s World Affairs”.
